Introduction

Hooray! It's Tom & Jerry! How could this possibly go wrong? Well unfortunately it did. The cartridge shows no reference to the movie and that is because the game follows suit. Such a huge shame as a simple cat chasing a mouse game should be playable
Gameplay
A cat chases a mouse over various domestic backdrops. Sounds familiar to anyone who has ever watched this famous duo's antics. Tom & Jerry is still very popular today and holds a dear place in many hearts. Well that should mean their video game outings should get some respect, right? Oh dear.

Well gameplay is the most important aspect of a game in my opinion but I don't think the makers had the same opinion as me. It is a fairly broken game but it also very very easy. Your health bar is massive but in the end, this almost feels like a good thing as it means the game doesn't last forever. The jumping is very wooden and unresponsive and you'll feel yourself getting frustrated with how Tom falls. The main problem is that it plays so slowly. Tom & Jerry is a fast paced cartoon but noone told the creators.

Such a shame that this game fails so badly. I reckon they actually carry on fighting purely as they blame each other for this games existence.
Graphics
Well the graphics stand up ok. They're nothing spectacular but they're fairly pretty. It looks like a Tom & Jerry game should do at least. The backdrops are fairly basic but they were in the show as well. Both Tom & Jerry look absolutely spot on however the animation on Tom does look a little clunky at times.
Sound & Music
Pretty much what you expect really. Not too many sound affects but the basic tunes are pretty nice and fit it well.
Controls
Tom can walk and jump. That's pretty much all there is and all that is necessary. The controls hold up okay but the jumping itself is absolutely laughable.

I refuse to dignify this with a response.
Conclusion
I bought it for £3 and regret it. It's a pretty poor game with no real redeeming features. I would not recommend it for anyone except someone wanting to just complete their games collection.
